You are a seasoned developer with skills in Adobe’s CQ5 Web Experience Management Platform. Perspective candidates will use their experience in implementation and customization to template sites for CQ5 (CSS, Javascript, HTML), write custom components in Java for CQ5, and manage CQ5 sites hosted in third party environments. Candidates will also provide technical leadership throughout the life cycle of a project, with specific focus on CMS solutions. This ranges from platform selection through the design, user interface and technical integration of projects, and interfacing with client technology and management teams. Candidates will also collaborate with fellow developers and engineers to conceive implementation strategies, and participate in review sessions with customers as required.

Required qualifications:

• Expertise in Adobe CQ foundational concepts and a solid understanding of CQ5 building blocks.
• Experience leveraging web content management component of Adobe CQ to customize and port customer websites is required.
• Experience with custom component development for CQ5.4 is an asset.
• Experience leveraging CRX as a repository is an asset.
• Experience leveraging Adobe CQ workflows is an asset.
• Excellent communications and time management skills.
• Have a good understanding of software engineering practices.
