A paperless data gathering solution to expedite application processes

Traditionally, the collection of insurance application information is a lengthy process that requires manual intervention at every step: product application, review, and signature; determination of eligibility; verification of agent clearance; and information key-in. Errors such as the misreplication of applicant information or the inadvertent omission of supplementary forms can lead to delays in application completion and translate into application rejection, substandard customer experience, and loss of repeat business.

 

Solution

Ensemble’s eApplication for Insurance Agents (eApp) facilitates data gathering by providing insurance agents with a structured questionnaire and filling insurance forms with details from the applicant’s pre-existing insurance policies. Built-in logic and dependencies activate additional questions and forms that are relevant to the data entered. Information is validated as it is keyed in and personal data is updated across all forms for accuracy and consistency, eliminating the need to duplicate data by hand and reducing the potential for error.

Designed for tablet devices, this solution can also operate offline, allowing insurance agents to meet clients anywhere to complete insurance product applications. A secure signature ceremony allows the client to sign forms directly on the tablet or on a laptop via eSignature pads, eliminating the need for paper printouts and/or a second meeting to obtain a signature, and expediting the procedure so contracts can be processed without delay. Also featured in eApp is an insurance license check, which permits the agent to sell only those policies they are licensed to sell in the state(s) in which they are licensed.
