The Project
Porsche uses SAP as their customer relationship management (CRM) software and Adobe Sign to complete customer forms with signatures. Updating the CRM with sale information from each customer form required a great deal of manual effort and time to complete the process, along with an increased likelihood of errors being introduced during data entry. Porsche desired a more efficient process that would create a single point of data while also eliminating the possibility of user error.
Porsche was specifically looking for the data captured within the Adobe Sign form to flow directly into the SAP CRM.

Our Solution
Already an innovative organization, Porsche wanted to optimize its top-of-the-line technologies and remove inefficient manual operations that left room for errors. Without a natural integration for data transfer between SAP CRM and Adobe Sign, Porsche looked to Ensemble to create a seamless custom integration between the two products after hearing about our Development expertise from Adobe itself.
Process and Web Development
Ensemble worked with Porsche to standardize the data that needed to sync and created a PDF form that could be sent to customers. This PDF could be completed online and included fillable fields and the appropriate text tags for all of the data that Porsche wanted to capture.
Once the PDF was completed and signed by the customer, Ensemble configured the Adobe Sign endpoint to receive the PDF with the client information and signature. We then used an SAP CRM API endpoint to send the relevant data to the CRM, updating the sale information with the PDF data automatically.

The Outcome
Our development team was able to build a single form that could be filled out and signed by the customer, with the relevant information added to the appropriate fields within the CRM. Having automated the data process, we were not only able to eliminate the need for manual data entry, but we were also able to eliminate the potential introduction of errors by users.
We helped Porsche to achieve their objectives by delivering a seamless custom integration between two products that had not existed previously, solving a major data problem, and streamlining important sales processes.
